  We don’t have a numeric RDA (Relative Dentin Abrasivity) value for our toothpaste, as we haven’t commissioned formal abrasivity testing. However, we can share that our Cosmetic Product Safety Report was independently assessed by Oxford Biosciences, who confirmed the formulation as safe and non-irritant for normal use, with all ingredients having a very high margin of safety (above 1,000).

  In terms of abrasivity, our formula is naturally mild. It uses finely milled calcium carbonate, kaolin clay, and bicarbonate of soda - all gentle polishing minerals commonly classed as low-abrasive. We avoid harsher silicas or synthetic abrasives entirely. The calcium carbonate and kaolin are food-grade and chosen specifically for their smooth particle size and gentle cleaning action.
