  Yes, you can absolutely use Fit Pit in places other than just your underarms. Many of our customers use it anywhere they get hot, sweaty or prone to odour — like under the breasts, between the thighs, in skin folds, on feet, or even the bum crease.
  
  It’s made with gentle, natural ingredients like coconut oil, shea butter and a small amount of bicarbonate of soda, so it’s kind to sensitive skin. Just apply a small amount to clean, dry skin and you’re good to go.
  
  If you’re using it in more delicate areas, like around the bikini line or inner thighs, we recommend doing a small patch test first — just to make sure your skin is happy.

  "How do you reuse returned jars?"

  The glass jars are cleaned and sterilised so that they can be used again, and the jar lids are recycled. Glass can be reused many times in this way, just like milk bottles are.

  "How long will a jar of Fit Pit last?"

  It depends on how much you use, but on average:

  A 100ml jar lasts around 3 to 4 months with daily use.

  A 25ml mini jar lasts approximately 3 to 4 weeks.
  A little goes a long way — just a pea-sized amount is enough for each underarm.

  "Does Fit Pit contain preservatives, and what is its shelf life?"

  Fit Pit doesn’t contain any artificial preservatives — and it doesn’t need them. It’s made with naturally antibacterial and antimicrobial ingredients, like bicarbonate of soda, coconut oil, and essential oils, which help keep it fresh.

  The official shelf life is 18 months, but we recommend using it within 12 months to enjoy it at its best. If Fit Pit is exposed to high heat and melts, the ingredients can separate, which may affect its texture, scent, and effectiveness. If it ever looks or smells unusual, it’s time to replace it.

  Fit Pit is a natural deodorant, not an antiperspirant — so it doesn’t stop you from sweating. Traditional antiperspirants work by blocking your pores, which we believe isn’t healthy for your skin or body.
  Fit Pit allows you to sweat naturally, which is important for detoxification and temperature regulation. Instead of stopping sweat, it works to prevent odour, using bicarbonate of soda and essential oils to neutralise bacteria.

During this time, applying a bit more frequently and wearing breathable clothing can help. After the adjustment, most people find their sweat levels normalise and odour reduces naturally.

  "Is Fit Pit deodorant gluten free?"

  Fit Pit does not contain any gluten-based ingredients, and none of the raw materials naturally contain gluten. While the formula should be gluten free in practice, we haven’t had it formally certified as such.

  Because Fit Pit is used topically, the risk is extremely low—even for people with coeliac disease—since gluten is not absorbed through intact skin. However, if you have a severe sensitivity, we recommend speaking with your healthcare provider.

  "Should I refrigerate Fit Pit?"

  Fit Pit should be stored in a cool, dark place to keep them in top condition. Because they are made with natural oils and butters, they may soften or melt in hot weather. While this doesn’t spoil the product, it can change the texture and reduce its shelf life.

  During warm summer months, it’s perfectly fine to store Fit Pit in the fridge. If the product becomes too firm, just allow it to soften at room temperature before use.

  If you’re buying a jar and don’t plan to use it right away, refrigerating it until you're ready is a great way to preserve freshness — especially in hotter climates.

  "Which deodorant, if any is pregnancy safe for all trimesters?"

  The gentlest choice during pregnancy is Fit Pit Sensitive — it’s free from essential oils, fragrance, and designed for delicate skin. Some essential oils are best avoided in early pregnancy or when used in stronger blends, as sensitivities can increase and certain oils aren’t recommended in higher concentrations. For this reason, we advise avoiding Fit Pit Love (it contains a potent mix of essential oils) and avoiding Fit Pit Woman during the first trimester, as the essential oils in this blend may be more likely to cause sensitivity in early pregnancy. The other varieties with essential oils are generally considered fine after the first trimester, but if you’d prefer peace of mind, Sensitive is the gentle go-to throughout pregnancy.
